How to get here

Lefkada can be approached from several directions.

By Car
A small bridge connects Lefkada Island with the main land of Greece.
- If you coming from Athens, you take the National road to Patras. Just before Patras city, at Rio you pass the bridge of Rio-Antirio. Then you travel west to Amphilochia and from there you take the, 60Km long, road to Lefkada Island.

- If you are coming from Igoumenitsa, Ioannina, Salonica or any other place of Northern Greece, then you take the road to Preveza City and from there you pass the immersed tunnel which connects Preveza with Aktio. From there you are only 18Km away of Lefkada Island.

You may come by air-plane from Athens, Salonica, Crete, Corfu, Kefalonia and Zakinthos. All flights go to Aktion (Preveza) Airport which is only 16Km away and there is a buss connection with Lefkada City.

You may also choose to come by hydroplane from Patra Ioannina and Corfu. All flights go to Marina of Lefkada City .

Also you can take the Bus from major cities of Greece (Athens, Salonica, Patras, Ioannina, Igoumenitsa, Preveza).
